Nature’s Path offers greenspace galore

Fashioned after New York City’s famous brownstones,
new set of townhomes will offer a smart urban design

Nestled in the heart of Toronto’s West Rouge neighbourhood is an exciting new community by Your Home Developments. Aptly named, Nature’s Path, this picturesque neighbourhood of urban townhomes is bordered by forest and Colonial Danforth Park.

What’s more, residents have views of Lake Ontario, and have access to a forest trail leading down to Highland Creek. Hiking, biking, fishing and kayaking is just a sampling of the many activities to be enjoyed in this natural paradise of east Toronto.

“Rouge Valley National Park was just recently designated as the largest urban national park in Canada,” says Lloyd Martin, a principal at Trimart Corporation. “Nature’s Path backs onto this protected space, to give homeowners easy access to the park’s walking and biking trails. When people see the aerial photograph of the area, they are simply amazed at all of the greenspace.”

Fashioned after New York brownstones, Nature’s Path has a smart urban design that is a recognizable landmark for the area. Interesting and varied architecture gives each of the townhome models a unique character.

Exteriors are brick, stone and stucco, and feature decorative windows, arched entrances and intricate detailing. There are large balconies and terraces, as well as a cool roof, which helps to increase the energy efficiency of each home. Homes are recessed back from the street, to allow for plenty of landscaping, including trees, shrubs and flowers. There is a children’s play area and a trellis garden with a walkway and benches.

A total of 92 urban townhomes offer two- and three-bedroom designs, with square footage ranging from 980 sq. ft. to 1,300 sq. ft. Floor plans offer ample space for the whole family and include large principal rooms and open concept spaces.

Kitchens feature islands and separate eating areas, and some models include walk-outs from the kitchen to the backyard. Standards include nine ft. main floor ceilings, imported ceramic tile flooring and staircases with natural oak pickets and handrails. Prices start at just $279,990 and include a generous bonus package to give purchasers even more value.

The natural setting of Nature’s Path is complemented by a host of local amenities that put everything right at your doorstep. Located on Kingston Rd., east of Morningside Ave., Nature’s Path is close to TTC and GO Transit services. For those that commute, Highway 401 is just minutes away. There are great stores and restaurants in the area, as well as excellent schools. A beautiful tree-lined boulevard runs between the site and Kingston Rd., and walking trails lead to both the water and U of T’s Scarborough Campus.

Once the site of a car dealership, Nature’s Path is part of the revitalization that is sweeping the area, transforming former commercial properties into a vibrant neighbourhood, where people can live, work and play.

“We’re seeing a gentrification of an urban area that was underutilized,” Martin says. “This is Toronto’s next big trendy area, so we encourage people to get in early and take advantage of the great pricing and selection of home designs.”
